Academic Session 2026–27 · Consolidated & Legally Binding · Applicable to all residents of Radiance Residency, Rau, Indore.

These Hostel Rules & Regulations apply to all residents staying at Radiance Residency Hostel. By completing admission formalities, making payment, and occupying the premises, every resident and their parent/guardian confirms that they have read, understood, and unconditionally accepted all terms stated herein. Any breach may result in warnings, financial penalties, suspension of services, forfeiture of security deposit, or immediate eviction. The Hostel Management reserves the right to amend any rule at any time without prior notice.

ये हॉस्टल नियम एवं शर्तें रेडियन्स रेज़िडेंसी हॉस्टल में निवास करने वाले सभी निवासियों पर लागू होती हैं। प्रवेश प्रक्रिया पूर्ण करने, भुगतान करने एवं परिसर में निवास प्रारंभ करने के साथ ही निवासी एवं उनके माता-पिता/अभिभावक इन सभी नियमों को बिना शर्त स्वीकार करते हैं। किसी भी नियम का उल्लंघन चेतावनी, अर्थदंड, सेवा निलंबन, जमा राशि जब्ती या तत्काल निष्कासन का कारण बन सकता है।

1.1The minimum mandatory stay is 10 months. No room shall be allotted for a shorter period.
1.2After completing the 10-month stay, a resident wishing to vacate must give at least 1 month's prior written notice. Failure results in forfeiture of security deposit.
1.3Documents required at admission: Student Aadhaar Card, Parent/Guardian Aadhaar Card, University ID or Admission Proof, and 2 recent passport-size photographs.
1.4All residents must record their entry and exit timings in the hostel register or any mechanism prescribed by management.
1.5A non-refundable Registration Fee of ₹1,000 is payable at admission under all circumstances.
1.6Local guardian details, emergency contact information, and permanent residential address are mandatory.
1.7Management reserves the right to reassign or change any room allotment at any time for operational, maintenance, or disciplinary reasons.
1.8Residents must cooperate with police verification, local authority documentation, and all legal compliance requirements.
1.1हॉस्टल में न्यूनतम अनिवार्य निवास अवधि 10 माह है।
1.210 माह पूर्ण होने के पश्चात कमरा रिक्त करने के लिए कम से कम 1 माह पूर्व लिखित सूचना देना अनिवार्य है।
1.3प्रवेश के समय: छात्र आधार कार्ड, माता-पिता/अभिभावक आधार कार्ड, विश्वविद्यालय ID/प्रवेश प्रमाण पत्र, तथा 2 पासपोर्ट साइज़ फोटो जमा करना अनिवार्य है।
1.4प्रत्येक निवासी को हॉस्टल रजिस्टर में अपने आगमन व प्रस्थान का समय दर्ज करना होगा।
1.5प्रवेश के समय ₹1,000 पंजीकरण शुल्क देय होगा, जो किसी भी परिस्थिति में वापस नहीं किया जाएगा।
1.6स्थानीय अभिभावक का संपर्क नंबर, आपातकालीन संपर्क जानकारी एवं स्थायी पता प्रदान करना अनिवार्य है।
1.7प्रबंधन को प्रशासनिक या अनुशासनात्मक कारणों से किसी भी समय कमरा बदलने का अधिकार है।
1.8पुलिस सत्यापन एवं सभी कानूनी अनुपालन प्रक्रियाओं में सहयोग अनिवार्य है।
2.1At admission, every resident must pay: one month's advance rent + one month's security deposit. Admission is confirmed only after receipt of Registration Fee, Security Deposit, and First Month's Rent.
2.2If a resident vacates before completing the mandatory 10-month stay, the security deposit shall be forfeited in full.
2.3Full rent is payable during all periods including festivals, holidays, college vacations, semester breaks, or personal absence. No deduction or waiver applies.
2.4Monthly rent must be paid between 1st–3rd or 15th–18th of every month (as per billing cycle).
2.5A late payment charge of ₹100/day applies from the 4th or 19th of the month until dues are cleared.
2.6If rent remains unpaid beyond the 3rd or 18th, management may initiate eviction proceedings on the 5th or 20th without prior notice.
2.7In case of eviction, the resident shall pay 20% service charges on remaining rent for the unexpired term, in addition to forfeiture of security deposit.
2.8Any short or partial payment is treated as non-compliance and may lead to eviction.
2.9Booking token amount is strictly non-refundable, including in case of cancellation.
2.10Security deposit is refunded after final room inspection and settlement of all dues. Processing typically takes 6–7 working days.
2.11Security deposit shall not be adjusted against monthly rent, electricity charges, or penalties under any circumstances.
2.14An annual Management Charge of ₹500 will be deducted from the security deposit at move-out.
2.1प्रवेश के समय एक माह का अग्रिम किराया एवं एक माह के किराये के बराबर सुरक्षा जमा देना अनिवार्य है।
2.2अनिवार्य 10 माह से पूर्व हॉस्टल रिक्त करने पर सुरक्षा जमा राशि पूर्णतः जब्त हो जाएगी।
2.3त्योहारों, छुट्टियों, कॉलेज अवकाश या व्यक्तिगत अनुपस्थिति में भी पूर्ण किराया देय रहेगा।
2.4मासिक किराया प्रत्येक माह की 1 से 3 तारीख अथवा 15 से 18 तारीख के बीच जमा करना अनिवार्य है।
2.54 या 19 तारीख से ₹100 प्रतिदिन विलंब शुल्क देय होगा।
2.9बुकिंग टोकन राशि किसी भी परिस्थिति में वापस नहीं की जाएगी।
2.14मूव-आउट के समय डिपॉजिट से ₹500 वार्षिक प्रबंधन शुल्क काटा जाएगा।
3.1Hostel facilities (food, Wi-Fi, housekeeping, hot water, RO water, CCTV, washing machine, iron, tiffin) are provided on a cooperative basis.
3.2Any temporary interruption of any facility due to maintenance, faults, or force majeure does not entitle the resident to any refund or deduction.
3.4Electricity is charged at ₹12 per unit based on actual sub-meter reading. No free electricity is provided.
3.5Use of a cooler attracts an additional charge of ₹700 per room per month.
3.6Hot water is available daily between 6:30 AM and 10:30 AM only.
3.7Use of heaters, induction cooktops, electric kettles, coils, or any cooking/heating appliance inside rooms is strictly prohibited.
3.8All electrical appliances, lights, fans, and chargers must be switched off when leaving the room.
3.9During power backup (DG/inverter), management may restrict high-load appliances such as ACs and washing machines.
3.10Any water leakage, open tap, or overflow must be reported immediately to management.
3.4बिजली शुल्क वास्तविक मीटर रीडिंग के आधार पर ₹12 प्रति यूनिट की दर से लिया जाएगा।
3.5कूलर के उपयोग पर ₹700 प्रति कमरा प्रति माह अतिरिक्त शुल्क।
3.6गर्म पानी केवल प्रतिदिन 6:30 बजे से 10:30 बजे तक उपलब्ध।
3.7कमरे में हीटर, इंडक्शन, केतली या कोई भी हीटिंग/कुकिंग उपकरण पूर्णतः वर्जित है।
3.8कमरा छोड़ते समय सभी विद्युत उपकरण, लाइट, पंखे बंद करना अनिवार्य है।
4.1Defacing walls, placing posters, writing on hostel property, or damaging paint, furniture, or infrastructure is strictly prohibited.
4.2Residents must maintain cleanliness in their rooms and all common areas at all times.
4.3Any damage to hostel property due to negligence, misuse, or intentional acts shall be recovered with applicable penalties.
4.4Any damage or malfunction in the room must be immediately reported. Failure to report may make the resident liable.
4.5Wet and dry waste must be segregated and disposed of in designated bins only.
4.6Entry into restricted areas (kitchen, water tank, store room, maintenance areas) is strictly prohibited.
4.7Personal belongings must not be placed in corridors or common spaces. Management may remove such items and impose a penalty.
4.8Common furniture, utensils, or appliances (including the iron and induction cooktop in common areas) shall not be moved to rooms without prior written permission.
4.9Housekeeping staff shall not be used for personal tasks by any resident.
4.10Residents must cooperate with scheduled housekeeping, fumigation, pest control, and maintenance inspections.
4.1दीवारों पर पोस्टर लगाना, लिखना या किसी भी प्रकार से संपत्ति को क्षति पहुँचाना पूर्णतः वर्जित है।
4.5गीले एवं सूखे कचरे को अलग-अलग निर्धारित कूड़ेदानों में डालना अनिवार्य है।
4.6रसोईघर, जल टंकी क्षेत्र एवं प्रतिबंधित स्थानों में प्रवेश पूर्णतः वर्जित है।
4.7गलियारों या सामान्य क्षेत्रों में व्यक्तिगत सामान रखना वर्जित है।
4.9हाउसकीपिंग कर्मचारियों से व्यक्तिगत कार्य कराना अनुमत नहीं है।
5.3Loud noises, loud music, or disturbing other residents between 11:00 PM and 6:00 AM is strictly prohibited.
5.4Misbehaviour, abusive language, harassment, or disrespect towards hostel staff, management, or fellow residents shall not be tolerated.
5.5Residents must maintain peace to avoid disturbing neighbours or the surrounding community.
5.6The main hostel gate opens at 6:30 AM and closes at 10:30 PM. Late entry after 10:30 PM requires management approval and parent/guardian confirmation.
5.7Overnight stay outside the hostel without prior written permission will result in a penalty.
5.8Ragging in any form is strictly prohibited and is a cognizable offence. All instances will be reported to legal authorities and may lead to immediate eviction.
5.9Betting, gambling, or wagering within hostel premises is strictly prohibited and may lead to immediate eviction.
5.10Organizing parties, gatherings, political or religious events inside hostel premises without prior written permission is prohibited.
5.3रात्रि 11 बजे से प्रातः 6 बजे के बीच तेज आवाज या संगीत बजाना पूर्णतः वर्जित है।
5.6मुख्य गेट प्रातः 6:30 बजे खुलता है और रात्रि 10:30 बजे बंद होता है
5.7बिना लिखित अनुमति के हॉस्टल के बाहर रात्रि विश्राम करने पर अर्थदंड लगाया जाएगा।
5.8रैगिंग किसी भी स्वरूप में पूर्णतः प्रतिबंधित है — यह एक संज्ञेय अपराध है।
5.9हॉस्टल परिसर में सट्टेबाजी या जुआ पूर्णतः वर्जित है।
6.1Residents are solely responsible for the safety of their personal belongings. Management shall not be liable for theft, loss, damage, or misplacement.
6.2All valuables must be secured and locked in the almirah/cupboard at all times.
6.3Changing locks or installing additional locks without prior written approval is prohibited.
6.4Management reserves the right to enter any room for housekeeping, maintenance, safety checks, or emergencies — even in the resident's absence. Such entry will be in the presence of a management representative.
6.5Bringing or keeping pets or animals inside hostel premises is strictly prohibited.
6.6Any resident with a serious, infectious, or communicable illness must immediately inform management to protect fellow residents.
6.7Possession, storage, or use of weapons, firearms (including air guns), or hazardous materials within hostel premises is strictly prohibited. Management reserves the right to search bags at any time.
6.1व्यक्तिगत सामान की सुरक्षा की जिम्मेदारी स्वयं निवासी की है। चोरी या हानि के लिए प्रबंधन उत्तरदायी नहीं होगा।
6.5हॉस्टल परिसर में किसी भी पालतू जानवर को रखना पूर्णतः वर्जित है।
6.7हथियार, आग्नेयास्त्र या खतरनाक सामग्री रखना पूर्णतः वर्जित है।
7.1Only parents or legal guardians are permitted to enter hostel premises, subject to security verification.
7.2Other relatives or visitors may meet residents only in the designated waiting area. They shall not be permitted inside rooms under any circumstances.
7.3Unauthorized guests, overnight stays, room-sharing, bed transfer, or subletting is strictly prohibited.
7.4Residents are fully responsible for the conduct, damages, or rule violations committed by their visitors.
7.1सुरक्षा सत्यापन के पश्चात केवल माता-पिता या कानूनी अभिभावक को हॉस्टल परिसर में प्रवेश की अनुमति।
7.2अन्य रिश्तेदार केवल निर्धारित वेटिंग एरिया में ही मिल सकते हैं; कमरे में प्रवेश वर्जित है।
7.3अनधिकृत अतिथि प्रवेश, रात्रि प्रवास या कमरा साझा करना पूर्णतः प्रतिबंधित है।
8.1Consumption, possession, storage, or distribution of alcohol, tobacco, drugs, intoxicants, or non-vegetarian food within hostel premises is strictly prohibited.
8.2Cooking, reheating, or preparing food inside hostel rooms is strictly prohibited under all circumstances.
8.3Tampering with CCTV cameras, fire safety equipment, emergency systems, or security devices is strictly prohibited.
8.4Internet misuse — including accessing illegal/obscene content, creating fake accounts, downloading pirated material, or any unlawful digital activity — is prohibited.
8.5Any unlawful activity, violence, theft, or criminal behaviour shall invite immediate eviction and legal action.
8.6Filing false complaints, spreading misinformation, or defaming the hostel/management/staff (including on social media) may result in disciplinary action, eviction, or legal proceedings.
8.7The decision of the Hostel Management in all disciplinary matters shall be final and binding.
8.1हॉस्टल परिसर में शराब, तंबाकू, नशीली दवाएँ या मांसाहारी भोजन पूर्णतः प्रतिबंधित है।
8.2कमरे के अंदर खाना पकाना या दोबारा गर्म करना किसी भी परिस्थिति में वर्जित है।
8.6सोशल मीडिया सहित किसी भी माध्यम से हॉस्टल की बदनामी करना कानूनी कार्यवाही को आमंत्रित कर सकता है।
8.7सभी अनुशासनात्मक मामलों में हॉस्टल प्रबंधन का निर्णय अंतिम एवं बाध्यकारी होगा।
9.1The hostel mess provides balanced, hygienic, nutritious vegetarian meals on a rotational basis — including vegetables, protein-rich items (soyabadi, rajma, chole, chana, moong), and dals.
9.2Meal timings must be strictly followed. Prior information must be given for absence. For packed tiffin, residents must bring their own container.
9.3Food wastage is strictly discouraged. A penalty of ₹100 shall be levied per instance.
9.4All meals must be consumed in the designated mess/cafeteria area. Taking food from the mess to rooms is not permitted.
9.5Hostel-owned utensils, crockery, plates, bowls, or glasses must not be taken to rooms.
9.7Dinner service and evening tea are not available on Sundays.
9.8Mess services may remain temporarily unavailable during Diwali (up to 5 days), Holi, Rangpanchami, Dussehra, Raksha Bandhan, or due to staff shortage. No refund applicable.
9.9No refund or deduction shall be provided for meals not consumed due to personal absence, travel, or personal choice.
9.10Dinner is served between 6:30 PM and 8:30 PM daily. After 8:30 PM, dinner will be removed and will not be available.
9.11Washroom cleaning is carried out every Wednesday and Sunday.
9.12Tiffin delivery to college is a complimentary, best-effort service. Temporary unavailability does not entitle the resident to any refund.
9.1हॉस्टल मेस में संतुलित, स्वास्थ्यवर्धक शाकाहारी भोजन रोटेशन आधार पर परोसा जाता है।
9.3भोजन की बर्बादी पर ₹100 प्रति उल्लंघन जुर्माना।
9.4सभी भोजन केवल निर्धारित मेस क्षेत्र में ही करना अनिवार्य है।
9.7रविवार को डिनर सेवा एवं शाम की चाय उपलब्ध नहीं होगी।
9.10डिनर प्रतिदिन शाम 6:30 से 8:30 बजे तक उपलब्ध। 8:30 बजे के बाद हटा दिया जाएगा।
9.11वॉशरूम सफाई प्रत्येक बुधवार एवं रविवार को होती है।
10.1Belongings left after vacating shall be stored for a maximum of 15 days. After this period, management may dispose of them without further notice.
10.2Management shall not be responsible for loss, theft, delay, or damage of parcels or courier deliveries received at the hostel.
10.3Move-out clearance and release of belongings shall be granted only after full settlement of all pending dues, charges, and penalties.
10.1कमरा खाली करने के पश्चात छूटे सामान को अधिकतम 15 दिनों तक रखा जाएगा, फिर हटाया जा सकता है।
10.3सभी बकाया राशि का निपटान होने पर ही मूव-आउट क्लियरेंस दिया जाएगा।
11.1Management shall not be liable for failure to provide services due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including: natural disasters, floods, fire, earthquakes, epidemics, government orders, lockdowns, civil unrest, strikes, or utility failures.
11.2In such circumstances, management reserves the right to modify, suspend, or revise any service or charge as necessary to ensure operational continuity.
11.3No refund, compensation, or rent deduction shall be applicable in force majeure situations.
11.1प्राकृतिक आपदा, महामारी, सरकारी आदेश या अन्य अप्रत्याशित परिस्थितियों में सेवा व्यवधान के लिए प्रबंधन उत्तरदायी नहीं होगा।
11.3Force Majeure परिस्थितियों में किसी भी प्रकार की धनवापसी या कटौती देय नहीं होगी।
12.1All disputes arising from the hostel stay shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Indore, Madhya Pradesh only.
12.2In case of any emergency, police matter, or legal issue, the resident must immediately inform the Hostel Management before contacting any external authority.
12.4By completing the admission process, the resident and their parent/guardian unconditionally agree to all rules, regulations, and policies stated herein. This agreement is legally binding and enforceable.
12.1सभी विवाद केवल इंदौर, मध्य प्रदेश स्थित न्यायालयों के अधिकार क्षेत्र में आएंगे।
12.4प्रवेश प्रक्रिया पूर्ण करने के साथ ही निवासी एवं माता-पिता/अभिभावक इन सभी नियमों को बिना शर्त स्वीकार करते हैं।

Penalty Summary

Management reserves the right to impose higher penalties or order eviction for repeated or serious violations. बार-बार या गंभीर उल्लंघन पर प्रबंधन अधिक जुर्माना या निष्कासन का आदेश दे सकता है।
